U.S. Virgin Island artist/producer/songwriter and three-time winner of the Baltimore ULMII talent competition showcase, V.I.P., is offering the winners a free music track. The competition is held once in Baltimore and twice in Los Angeles.
At as young as nine Ben Foster and been directing and producing films. By the age of 13 one of his many short films made it to a film festival. At fourteen he was honored by the Black Enterprise magazine for his film directing/producing and was even interviewed on the Montel Williams Show. Ben, who will give each winner of the 2010 competition a free music video, just completed his first full length feature film Peep Game about the struggle of a young Hip-Hop artist to get the music world to take him seriously.
Legendary R&B artist Al B. Sure plays the CEO of a record label what finally takes notice. Peep Game also stars Terrell Mackey as the aspiring artist; comedian/actor Lil’ JJ, Vincent Ward, Paige Hurd, Holmes Lindsay, Carson Angel, Rowland Hamilton and Mariah Wilson. Foster was also featured in the December, 2009 issue of Essence magazine and was part of a team of young film makers to produce the next Usher music video.

The 11 year-old conference will offer seminars from 1 – 4 p.m. and a national talent competition showcase from 5 – 7 p.m. Pre-registration is required to attend the seminars and the talent showcase is free and open to the public. Only ten acts will be showcased per event date, so inquire early if you want to be in the line-up.
